Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson is an American actress, director, and producer. Her most well-known role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's produced, directed and performed in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the child born on January 8, 1977 to Edward and Diane Benson. Danielle Benson, the sister of her is an accomplished artist. Benson has a father who is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's acting career has continued to flourish after the conclusion of Buffy. Benson was a part of films like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. Additionally, she worked as a writer on her own show, the Ghosts of Albion Series and directed Drones in 2010. Buffy says that she took the time to count and find them she found around 1800 Slayers around the globe, including 500 who are connected with The Scooby Gang.
