Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe came from a multicultural family. She was born within South London. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She went to The Brit School when she was 14 years old. She studied acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She performed in various performances on stage during her time at school, including the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career began with Storm Damage. She has appeared as guest in Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. The film's success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. She then appeared in six episodes Trexx and Flipside playing the character of Ollie. The year 2008 saw her was offered the role in the role of Bambi on the ITV2 Drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl, appearing in three and two series. Madekwe was a part of the comedic How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). Her credits in the theatre are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe officially made her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was then cancelled. In February of 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the initial two seasons it was announced in May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the premiere episode in the season's third. Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actor who was raised by the large family. Her parents were Roy and Patty Leggat. Her four older brothers were also in the family: twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley's brothers, who were each of them extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so they grew up mostly in arenas and baseball parks. Ashley did not have the ability to walk but she was able to dance. When she turned two-and-a-half she started Baby Ballet and fell in with. That was the start of Ashley's love for dancing. Ashley continued to dance competitively until her high-school graduation in top divisions such as tap, Jazz, Ballet Pointe, Acrobatics, Pointe Musical Theatre, Lyrical, Hip Hop, and more. She also won top soloists awards in all major dance contests, like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, among others.
