Sofia Pernas, a Moroccan born in California who grew up growing in Orange County. The actress got her first big break acting upon graduation from the University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas was a small part in NCIS and Leverage. After that, she was offered the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless. Following her departure from the soap-opera in 2016, the actress landed the role of a regular on Jane the Virgin as Catalina. She speaks four languages. She has appeared on The Brave with Hannah Rivera and also The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Her role as Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between 2019 until 2020. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas is engaged to her ex- The Young and the Restless costar Justin Hartley. The star of the show Pernas started dating Justin Hartley shortly after she split with Chrishell Stause. was married to since November of the year 2019.
